Australia
Beyond Borders
Why Study in Australia?
It’s not just about earning a qualification, it’s about building independence, resilience, and a global outlook.

A Globally Respected Education System
Australia is home to 42 universities, including members of the prestigious Group of Eight (Go8), a group of 8 institutions known for research excellence, strong graduate outcomes, and global academic standing across disciplines such as business, engineering, health sciences, IT, environmental studies, and the arts.

A Lifestyle That Supports Your Growth
For many Malaysian students, Australia feels both exciting and reassuring, far enough to grow independently, yet close enough to stay connected to home. Its cities are multicultural, safe, and student-friendly, offering:
- Strong international student support
- Part-time work opportunities
- Modern campuses with industry-connected learning
- Diverse communities where Malaysian students feel welcomed

Scholarship Opportunities
As a popular study destination, most UK universities offer generous scholarships to help cover some costs, such as Chevening, GREAT, Commonwealth, and British Council Women for STEM Scholarships, which help make studying in the UK more financially accessible.

Cost of Living
Beyond the capital city, the cost of living throughout the UK remains very affordable. With the assurance of a national minimum wage and work rights for students, you can earn enough to support your living costs.

Global Employability
UK degrees are recognised and respected by employers worldwide. Many programmes include industry placements that provide real-world experience. The Graduate Visa also allows eligible graduates to gain up to 18 months of work experience in the UK (for graduates from 1 January 2027), providing an opportunity to build international career exposure after graduation.

Affordable Living Costs
Generally offers a more affordable cost of living compared to larger cities on the East Coast.
Balanced Coastal Living
A relaxed coastal lifestyle with modern infrastructure and growing industry presence.
Room to Grow Without the Pressure
Perth offers space to grow academically ambitious, yet less overwhelming than larger metropolitan hubs.
THe differences
East Coast vs Western Australia: Finding Your Fit
Cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane are known for their global connectivity, diverse industries, and vibrant city life.
Western Australia, particularly Perth, offers a different rhythm—a more focused, liveable, and close-knit community, with a strong emphasis on quality of life. Its strategic proximity to Asia and growing industries provide unique opportunities within a more balanced and accessible environment.
Neither is better— but you have the option to consider which environment aligns better with your goals, personal needs and lifestyle to help you enjoy and thrive.
